MobiKhata ("we", "our", the "App") is a digital khata and point-of-sale application for mobile phone shops in Pakistan, operated by XenifyLabs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using MobiKhata you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored encrypted), or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.
  • Shop & business data — shop name, inventory records (phone brand, model, IMEI, prices), sales, installment plans, expenses, and customer/seller contact details you choose to enter.
  • Photos — images of phones or documents you attach to records, stored on our media hosting provider (Cloudinary).
  • Device & usage data — app version, device model, and diagnostic logs used to keep the App reliable.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the khata/POS service: syncing your records across devices and keeping them backed up.
  • To authenticate you and secure your account.
  • To send service notifications (e.g. installment reminders) via OneSignal, if you enable them.
  • To show advertisements (Google AdMob) to free-plan users — subscribers do not see ads.
  • To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal or business data to anyone.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your records are stored locally on your device in an encrypted database and synced over HTTPS to our servers. Passwords are hashed with industry-standard bcrypt. If you use the optional Google Drive backup, the backup file is stored in your own Google Drive app folder, accessible only to you and this App.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete individual records in the App at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the address below — we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

MobiKhata is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
